Mirror Mirror

Marble print is everywhere at the moment and a simple yet luxurious way to spruce things up around the home.

Last week I picked up this beautiful floor length mirror from Ikea (click here to view) for £7.50, as it was damaged and knew exactly what I was going to do with it.

Here' s a step by step tutorial of how to update an old or damaged mirror and show your home some love:

What You will need:

  • Marble print sticky back plastic/foil, I picked this up in my local Wilko
  • Scissors
  • Tape (this is only because my mirror was damaged)

Repair:

Using the tape I simply bridged the gap where the mirror was damaged so that the foil had something the stick to in this area.

What I love about this particular brand is that there are guidelines on the back to help you cut out what you need.

I then measured it against each section of the mirror and cut out what I needed.

Once I had covered the entire mirror I made a tiny slit at each corner, folded it over and trimmed any excess foil using a sharp knife.

And there you have a brand new looking Marble mirror.

Hope you found this useful.  Thanks for reading.
