Left My Heart In The Sky...

If you follow me on Instagram you will know that last Monday for my birthday, my boyfriend & I visited the Sky Garden. I wanted to celebrate by doing something quite laid back and relaxing and as breakfast is my favourite meal
I thought a lovely chilled breakkie would be right up my street or up in the clouds should I say?!

I recently spotted an image of the Sky Garden on Pintrest and fell in love and as we were visiting London for a few days we made a reservation. our table was booked for 9:45am, we had trouble finding it and arrived about half an hour late, but that wasn't a problem. They popped us in the lift and off we went to the 35th floor.

From the second we walked in we were greeted by some beautiful chill out sounds and a lovely host that didn't make a single issue about our lateness and gracefully showed us to our table which was perfectly situated by the window. With in about 10 seconds the Sky Garden filled my expectations and more, in fact I feel a tad bit emotional as I type this post as this has to be one on my best experiences and we loved every moment of it. If it wasn't for the fact that we had planned to go shopping for birthday treats I would have stayed here the whole day.

The views over London were epic, to the left was Tower Bridge and to the right you could see Big Ben and The London Eye. They also have a huge glass balcony you can go out onto for an even better view.

I honestly can not express my love for this place and can not recommend it enough. You simply have to go. I'm already planning my next visit.

My outfit was super casual, as I wanted a chilled out day skinny jeans and a lose T was the perfect combo.Theses lace up flats were a birthday prezzie from my mum and as you can imagine I absolutely adore as you all know I'm a sucker for the lace up trend and especially shoes.
