Something You Migt Like:

Wednesday, 26 October 2016

There's no getting away from the whole blogging world, if you use any form of social media then there's no getting away from us - we are everywhere. I love that there is a worldwide community of us and there's enough room on the Internet for us all.

I myself love being a blogger, not just to influence people to by clothes but an idea of an outfit, picking a beautiful location, capturing the moment and bringing that all together for I piece of creative content that I love reading myself. I've always said that I think it's important you love you own content and you create something that satisfies yourself too.

I can't help but feel that there's this stigma that all we do is get free stuff and everyone now is claiming to be a blogger because all the want is the free stuff. Now let me tell you that is utter crap, there's so much work that goes into just one blog post, then there's Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram Stories and now Twitter Stories (Just Kidding).

I also pride myself on the fact that I take my own photographs, I don't have a fancy camera that does it for me - It's all me darling.

I've been in this industry for a long time, I'm not a blogger with a huge following of 10's of thousands of you lovely lot but I sure as hell make sure that the quality of my content is exactly that - quality.

Over the last few weeks my blogger mojo has taken a little hit and my creativeness has diminished. Once upon a time I would have really beaten myself up about it - "What if people are waiting to see content?" "What if my following drops to zero?" "What if my inspiration never comes back?”

Nowadays I just let it go (Sings the Frozen them song) I just remind myself why I do this and it sure as hell is not because of what I can get from other people for free but what I give to myself - and that my dear is priceless.

Currently I'm having major love for H&M, I've been finding some amazing pieces that are incredibly cheap. First was this rust coloured top which was only £12.99, I absolutely love the zip detail which gives it real 90's vibe.

Then came the coat...

I had already spotted this off white/cream puffer coat a week or so ago but didn't really think too much of it. But then when I popped in a few days ago it really caught my eye so I tried it on and the rest is history.

Not something I would normally go for but then again my style adapts to my mood constantly. I'm actually looking forward to it getting colder so I can get styling.

Dresses aren't something I wear that often, I'm a jeans gal at heart. But some dresses are so cute they just have to be styled.

I was kindly sent this super cute number by the babes at Audacious Style (if you not familiar with the brand you can check them out in my previous post here:).
I loved wearing this dress, it was so comfortable & it's one of those easy to wear dresses that will slot perfectly into your wardrobe for this time of year. The best thing is it's the type of fabric that doesn't crease, which is perfect for me as I hate ironing (Lazy I know but I’m sure I’m not the only one. Plus it’s such a time saver).

I love the paisley print, and the tie style belt gives it a chick yet laid-back look.

Here I've styled it with my go to thigh high boots and a faux leather bicker jacket. I was thinking it would also look super cute in spring/summer with converse or flats.

For me blogging has never been about showing off what we have been told is "In fashion'' but more about taking bits and pieces I love and turning them into outfits. I'm a massive repeat offender when it comes to things that I love. Like when you find a new song and just keep it on repeat. Well I'm the same with my clothes.

Now don't get me wrong I will style pieces that are on trend but that's because I actually like them. Having a personal style that's diverse, I love and makes me feel confident. Is so much better (and more fun) than wearing what I feel I should be wearing.

So when I was contacted by new fashion brand Audacious Style asking me to style some of their pieces, I knew I had to say yes. They have some super cute pieces, however that wasn't the only reason why I wanted to work with them. They truly believe that individuality and personal style is the most important thing about fashion, as do I. And basically that is why Binbagcouture was created.
Here I've styled the Alexis Stripped Printed Shirt (which I'm pretty sure is going to be making a regular appearance) with my distressed Zara jeans and my all-time faves - the red loafers. AND not forgetting "That" biker jacket.

It's that time of year again where we have no choice but to switch our crop tops for coats and I'm not complaining. I actually look forward to finding different ways of layering my winter wardrobe.
One thing that excites me the most is the return of the thigh high boot. Not only do they look super chic they are perfect for disguising those ugly thermal socks.
I was kindly sent these gorgeous black stretch thigh highs from the babes at QUIZ and I am in love.  I've only styled them the once for this post but I already know they are going to be one of my go to shoes of the season - when you know you know!! They are really comfortable and so easy to get on. Oh! And they now have a velvet version - DYING!!
Here I've layered the boots over some skinny jeans and my favourite Zara knit (which is past season but I've listed a similar one below)

Jeans - River Island
