Over the last few years I seem to have generated a knack (or could be good luck) for finding real quality pieces in the sale at a fraction of the original price. Most of my finds are winter pieces. I usually look for coats, boots and chunky knits. Which in my opinion are the only pieces really worth looking for.
Although I said I had a knack, all I do is simply wait. Honestly don’t be fooled by £10 off here and there. Unless I feel like screaming about it, it’s not really a bargain. As we approach the end of January, sale prices seem to be slashed even more and that’s when the quality pieces seem to appear. The main culprits for this seem to be Zara & Topshop (and ladies…I aint complaining). I’ve been lucky enough to bag myself some really good quality pieces from both theses stores, pieces I’ve worn for the last few winters and will still wearing next year.
The boots and jacket that I’m wearing are both Zara sale finds. Granted, the jacket and boots I bought on Wednesday, but you just know when something will be a key piece in your wardrobe.
So you are probably wondering how much I paid for them?(More like I’m just dying to tell you).
The boots were £19.99 down from £95.99 and the jacket was £12.99 down from £69.99, bargain right?! I know they will both be styled in so many different ways; I’m excited just thinking about it.
I would love to know If you have picked up any amazing pieces or if you have any sale shopping tips you think I should know about.
