The White t-shirt! An item that usually plays a massive part in my everyday go to outfits (weather depending) along with a pair of jeans, well in this case skirt, but always some kind of denim. I love my white t-shirts but what I don’t love is my bra on display, it is one of my biggest peeves. So when trying to find the perfect Tee I always look for a certain thickness that will not have my bra screaming, “hey look at me”.
Here are my top 3 places to shop the everyday basic.
1. WEEKDAY
Weekday has to be my all time favourite place for t-shirts as they tick all the boxes. Not only are they ”that” thickness that I lust after, they wash really well and keep their shape too. Weekday have quite a few different t-shirt styles, they are reasonably priced and start from around £8 with the most expensive being around £18.
2. TOPSHOP
Topshop is another great place to shop white tees. Although not my preferred thickness, as they can be slightly on the see through side. Bit I find wearing with a black bra (not white as for some reason I find they show up more) tackles this problem. Again they wash great, keep their shape and are great value for money at around £10.
2. Primark (men’s)
Primark men’s t-shirts are a great; I love the boxiness of a men tee. They are the thickness that I like and cost a whopping £2, that’s cheaper than a Starbucks. To be honest they are £2 for a reason, a couple of washes and they seem to twist. But if I’m in need for a fresh white t-shirt and I don’t want to spend much money I usually opt for Primark.
